Structure, measure, fund.

Securitisation advisory in the CEMAC region and applied research on market risk, using tools we build ourselves. The advisory feeds the tools; the tools make the advisory verifiable.

Paris & Brazzaville
Two finance practitioners

Advisory

Vehicle structuring, receivable quality and documentation, counterparty rating, dialogue with the regulator.

Research

Market and credit risk measurement, publications on the financing of Central African economies.

Tools

Two platforms built in-house, one live and one under construction, both used on our own engagements.

Arm 1: Funding

OdhinaBridge

In development

Securitisation & receivables factoring in Central Africa

A securitisation platform applied to the factoring of trade receivables, designed for Central African SMEs, a segment conventional bank financing largely leaves aside.

The regulatory framework exists: the 2022 CEMAC regulation recognises securitisation vehicles, and COSUMAF has governed their licensing since 2024. What is missing is the operational tooling and the pedagogy. That is where we come in, in advisory as in development.

Arm 2: Portfolio forecasting, analysis & risk management

OdhinaIndx

Live

Quantitative market platform — data, portfolio, risk, macro

A full-stack market platform: 400+ multi-asset instruments — equities, ETFs, bonds, currencies, commodities, crypto — ingested continuously from several sources and reconciled to a consensus price. On top of that data: portfolio valuation, risk analytics and a macro engine.

The risk and macro models are validated and show their own error — a recession probit scored against history, realised-volatility forecasts, per-asset elasticities to macro shocks. Built for our own analysis, the platform now underpins our research and the quantitative side of our engagements.

  • 01DataHub: multi-source ingestion, consensus pricing, full history
  • 02Portfolio: valuation with currency effects, PEA and life-insurance tax logic
  • 03Risk: VaR, Expected Shortfall, HAR-RV volatility, stress tests, backtests
  • 04Macro & anticipation: recession probit, Taylor rule, market regimes, per-asset macro elasticities
  • 05Opportunity scoring across the whole universe — each score shown with its error

Demonstration access, no sign-up: the analysis screens and a sample portfolio, for 30 minutes.

Odhina Indx interface: live markets table with prices, changes and charts across 421 assets

La titrisation en zone CEMAC : un levier encore sous-exploité, une opportunité pour le Congo

Joyce Itoua · in French

“Across the CEMAC region, banks hold 76.8% of outstanding government securities, institutional investors 19.1%, and individuals just 3.2%. Household savings are therefore all but absent from the financing of the economy. The question is no longer whether securitisation has a place in the CEMAC region, but who, in Congo, will be among the first to seize it.”
